Brooklyn-based producer and DJ Octo Octa has released a new 3-track EP, She's Calling. Sonically, it's a big nod to the 90s rave scene. Her previous album, Resonant Body is best explained by the title. It's a kinetic and vibrant body of work that blurs the borders of house, drum and bass, and ambient. 'Goddess Calling' is the lead single from She's Calling. The very beginning of the track sees the bass drum rumble, whilst underground synths rise to the surface. Quickly, the track becomes a vivid, drum and bass-tinged journey, with galactic synths lending an ethereal overtone. At over 7 minutes long, this is a perfect track for a big old dance, and makes you all the more eager to get into a club again. But alas, the living room will do. -Ellie Rose-Davies
